About Us
My name is Suranart Tanvejsilp and my wife is Petnara Tanvejsilp. Our experience with buying real estate goes way back. I bought a two-family home when I started working for the computer giant in Kingston, New York. It was an older New England two-story wood frame home with a big porch in a decent neighborhood. The tenant came with the home. They lived up-stair and I lived down-stair.
I had to do some renovations to keep it energy-efficient. It’s very cold in Kingston during winter and I had to get up early in the morning to shovel snow from the sidewalk so the tenant and other pedestrians could walk by safely. There were other issues too which I usually cleared them up in 24-hour. The tenant was content living there.
Later on I had to move to the Florida branch in Boca Raton and had to put the home up for sale. The tenant stayed and eventually bought the home. They liked the home and the neighborhood.
While in Florida I lived in a rental apartment in Palm Beach for a time and a condominium in south Miami for a while. The condo complex was very nice. It was new and right on the ground floor. It was well managed and clean.
My wife and I lived there for a few years until 1990 when we had to move back to Bangkok. We rented it out for a year or so until the tenant bought it because she liked it so much, and because we took a good care of her.
She renovated the place and rented them out. By the way my wife’s background is in hotel management so she loves taking care of tenants. She also had worked for the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
